Breaking News from HQ: 7th Annual General Meeting of IPC Team, E.E.I.G.
On Friday, June 22, 2012, the 7th regular annual general meeting grouping together all 14 registered members of the European Economic Alliance known as Inter Pool Cover Team (IPC Team, E.E.I.G.) was held at company headquarters in Orel (CZ).
The meeting unanimously approved the financial statement for 2011, as well as the balanced economic budget proposal for 2012. It was also announced by IPC Team management that, despite the tough economic situation encountered in 2010 — 2011, the group as a whole successfully met its ambitious strategic, business and financial targets — particularly as a result of the group’s emphasis on product innovation and the use of state-of-the-art technology.
Recently, last generation (in terms of technology and design) swimming pool, spa and terrace/patio enclosures (3Seasons program) and newly-created Island SmokeTM enclosures have been improved and/or launched on the market. This has been accomplished by strenghtening our own dealership network in many countries around the world, for example, in such key (and difficult) markets as Germany and Austria. Furthermore, we are also penetrating such far-away and new markets as South Korea.
Additionally, participants of the meeting were informed about on-going projects and tasks being undertaken 2012 as regards web-marketing, the implementation of unique G.O.A.L. projects (Island Smoke, iPod application, new websites of IPC Team members), internet projects and the applied use and implementation of such standard advertising tools as fairs, magazines, newspapers ads, etc.
The General Meeting members unanimously re-conducted the board position of Mr. Jan Zitko (President) and newly appointed Mr. K. A. J. Lauwers (Vice President). The change in Vice President occured, since Mr. W. Rygielski (formerly Vice President) terminated his partnership with both IPC Team and Alutherm companies. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Rygielski for his long-term cooperation and efforts regarding IPC Team and Alutherm activities in Poland.
Lastly, the General Meeting members unanimously accepted the moved proposition and also adopted the ALUKOV Deutschland GmbH company to be a registered full member of IPC Team E.E.I.G.
The individual members of the IPC Team rated the results of 2011 and the initial six months 2012 of work very positively and said they were convinced that 2012 will overall once again be a successful year!
